Aarzo, Arpita, Shagun and Khushi of XI Commerce participated in the International Adolescent Summit on Life Skills, Values, Gender and School Wellbeing organized by ‘Expressions India’ The National Life Skills, Values Education & School Wellness Program on 6th, 7th & 8th December 2016, at Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Rajat Sharma (Aap ki Adalat fame) appreciated the efforts put in by the budding artists of our School.
Objectives of the International Adolescent Summit 2016:
- To focus on Good Practices of Skills based on Adolescent Education and Wellbeing in Schools.
- To ensure integration of School Safety, Sanitation, Nutrition, Hygiene and Health Checkup
programs within the Comprehensive School Health Education Curriculum along with
Contemporary Gender Issues in Education.
- To promote Life Skills and Health by strengthening integrated Community Involvement
Activities designed to engage Parents and Families as active participants in their Children’s
Health and Wellbeing. To formulate a Sequential Health and Life Skills Leadership Curriculum
for students and teachers.
- Voicing the students health and psychosocial needs and fostering effective school family and community partnership.
